As human beings start to use technology to evolve their own biology, the player is faced with some hard choices regarding what the future of the human race should look like, and how it should be governed. The original Deus Ex is still the pinnacle of the series, but Deus Ex: Human Revolution was the title that really demonstrated just how great a movie adaptation could l Anyone who's seen a Mad Max movie will easily be able to spot the direct influence of those films in Borderlands , Gearbox Software's colorful, cel shaded open world role-playing shooter. The alien planet of Pandora is a dangerous wasteland and pretty much everyone who lives there is insane, but that's all part of its charm. The plot of the games follows groups of fortune seekers who are trying to track down mysterious Vaults full of immensely powerful alien technology, and we'd love to see a filmmaker tackle both the offbeat humor and the treasure-hunting quest at the heart of the Borderlands ser Part of the enjoyment of open-world exploration is that there's potential to hide things away. Being able to visit a library at the Guild would be great for lore-hungry players. And in Fable, players were able to break in and sneak around villagers' houses and rob them. But I'd like to be able to see character backstories, so even though robbing is an evil deed in itself, the possible guilt from robbing someone could potentially make you feel even wo Having a voice helps make the conversations feel more natural, and if we had a way to choose how our characters voice sounded like Dragon Age did, it'd help add that flair to the customisation of your hero. Or perhaps it'll just do what Cyberpunk 2077 does and makes you feel as if you're experiencing a character's journey rather than your Fable 2 was set 500 years after the original story, and Fable 3 set only 50 years after the second game. The game's creator, Peter Molyneux told IGN that the time jumps between each games time periods were a "big mistake" and so I'm confident that Playground Games may honour that thinking and just send things back to simplicity. I'd like to see a game set somewhere in those 500 years but through a story that doesn't deteriorate the lore for Fable 2 an As is common with Kinect, enjoyment of the title will largely be based on how accurate your set-up is. I played the game with a 42" TV in moderate lighting conditions and adequate space around me. Some will experience the game in better conditions, but I prefer to review Kinect releases with what I feel is a realistic representation of most gamer’s arrangements. To calibrate, there’s a special tool that has you cast spells at stationary enemies. It seems easy enough, but after using the new settings, attacks were going all over the place. It took about four calibrations to get it as accurate as possible. Once calibration is correct, there is a learning curve to get spells accurately cast. To really nail it, your arm must be fully retracted before extending, with the palm facing up at all times. It sounds simple, but remembering to keep correct form during the heat of battle can be tricky. One of the most unique yet bizarre trailers of the year was Kojima Productions’ Death Stranding Reveal Trailer at E3 2016. From there, viewers are treated to a cryptic sequence involving Walking Dead actor Norman Reedus and an infant ch Colorful characters are encountered along the way that assist in your travels. These characters range from mildly amusing to surprisingly developed. One of the most emotional relationships in the game is with your horse Seren. As she’s with you every step of the way, willing to march into danger at your command, a surprising bond is quickly formed. Camps are periodically reached where, among other things, Seren can be feed, healed and cleaned. Touches like these really go along way to ensure she’s not rendered a lifeless form of transportation. One big omission from the Fable games of yore was the implementation of player-ridden mounts like horses. While there is a certain appeal to being forced to travel through the game world on foot, personally I find that I miss a lot of detail and off-the-beaten-path stuff when I'm racing past everything at 100 km/h, the thought that Fable 4 won't have some kind of mounted beasts is n Jack of Blades has managed to remain one of my all-time favourite antagonists in a video game. Partly down to his badass personality, but mostly for that iconic mask.
